Our cut
Before you start
Six things you need.
Worth knowing up front rather than halfway through the setup screen.
1
A gateway account
Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Square or Mollie. You open it directly.
2
API credentials
Pasted once into settings. Stored encrypted, never sent to us.
3
HTTPS
Every gateway refuses live keys over plain HTTP.
4
A tax rate
Only if you invoice with tax. GST, VAT and regional rates are supported.
5
A deposit rule
Optional. Fixed or percentage, set per service.
6
Starter tier or above
Online gateways start at Starter. Manual payment works on the free plan.
How it works
Four steps, start to finish.
1
Paste your keys
Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Square or Mollie. No account with us required.
2
Set the rule
Full payment, a fixed deposit, or a percentage with the balance on the day.
3
Customer pays
Card details are tokenised by the gateway and never touch your database.
4
Invoice sends itself
A branded, tax-correct PDF lands in their inbox automatically.
What you can do
Payments & deposits, in full.
✓
Five gateways
Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Square and Mollie — pick by region, or run more than one.
✓
Deposits that cut no-shows
Fixed or percentage up front. Operators report no-shows falling by roughly a third.
✓
Refunds in two clicks
Full or partial, synced back to the gateway and logged to the audit trail.
✓
Multi-currency
Sell in your customer’s currency with FX from your base rate.
✓
Tax done properly
GST, VAT and regional rates on the invoice, with bulk export for your accountant.
✓
PCI scope stays small
Tokenised by the gateway. No card data is stored on your server, ever.

Why it matters
The business case, not the feature list.
✓
Per-booking fees scale against you. A platform taking 1–3% of every booking costs more each year you grow. A flat licence does not.
✓
Deposits are the single biggest lever on no-shows. Operators collecting a deposit report no-shows falling by roughly a third — more than any reminder strategy achieves alone.
✓
Tokenisation keeps your PCI scope small. Card data going straight to the gateway keeps most businesses in the lightest self-assessment bracket.
Against the alternatives
How the others handle it.
Benchmarked May 2026 against each vendor's published documentation. Where a capability is behind a paid add-on we have marked it partial rather than absent.

Troubleshooting
When it does not behave.
The five things that actually go wrong, and what each one means.
Payments succeed but bookings stay unpaid
The gateway webhook is not registered. Check the endpoint is reachable and not blocked by a security plugin.
Deposit charged the full amount
The rule is set at service level and the service inherits a global override. Service-level wins — check both.
European cards decline at the last step
SCA is not completing. Confirm Payment Intents is enabled rather than the legacy charges path.
Invoice missing tax details
No tax rate configured, or the service has no tax class assigned.
Refund fails from WordPress
The API key lacks the refund scope. Regenerate it with refunds granted.
Questions
Before you ask.
Do you take a cut of bookings?
No. Your processor charges their standard rate directly to your bank. We add nothing on top, on any plan.
Can I take a deposit and the rest in person?
Yes — collect a percentage online and settle the balance at the POS terminal on the day.
Is card data stored on my site?
No. Everything is tokenised by the gateway, which keeps you in the lightest PCI bracket.
