FREQUENTLY ASKED
Everything you wanted to know — but didn't ask yet.
Honest answers about themes, WooCommerce, payments, reminders, events, and what happens after your annual plan ends.
Does Schedularity work with my WordPress theme?
Yes. The booking widget is delivered as a shortcode or Gutenberg block, with seven dark-mode-aware themes and full CSS-variable theming. It's been tested on Astra, GeneratePress, Kadence, Blocksy, Divi, Elementor, Avada, OceanWP, and the default Twenty Twenty-Five — and works on any well-formed WordPress theme.
Do I need WooCommerce?
No. Schedularity is fully standalone — bookings, payments, invoices, and POS all work without WooCommerce. If you already run WooCommerce we offer an optional bridge to sync product variations as services.
How long does setup take?
Most operators are live in under 10 minutes. The onboarding wizard ships with industry presets (salon, clinic, yoga studio, restaurant, event venue) that pre-configure services, durations, working hours, and reminder templates.
Which payment gateways are supported?
Five online gateways plus a manual mode: Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Square, and Mollie. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported via Stripe. UPI, wallets, and netbanking are supported via Razorpay.
Are there per-booking or processing fees from Schedularity?
No. Your payment processor charges their standard rate (e.g. Stripe 2.9% + 30¢) directly to your bank — Schedularity adds no fees on top, ever, regardless of plan.
Can I take deposits instead of full payment?
Yes. Set a fixed amount or percentage per service; collect the deposit at booking and the balance at the appointment (online or via POS).
Does it really replace Calendly + Mailchimp + Twilio + Stripe + Square + Mindbody?
For most service businesses, yes. The 20+ modules cover scheduling, multi-channel reminders, payments, POS, memberships, gift cards, loyalty, intake forms, waivers, events, ticketing, and accounting. The savings calculator on the pricing page lets you check against your current stack.
Can I sell event tickets?
Yes. Multi-session events, tiered tickets, early-bird pricing, QR check-in at the door, visual seat maps, and ticket transfers between attendees are all included — no separate Eventbrite-style fees.
How do reminders work across channels?
One template renders to email, SMS, WhatsApp, or voice. Set a priority chain (try WhatsApp → SMS → email → voice) and Schedularity falls through automatically if a channel fails. Bring your own provider keys.
Are recurring appointments and memberships supported?
Yes. Daily/weekly/monthly recurring series with occurrence-level edits, plus recurring memberships and class packs with session allowances, member pricing, and auto-renewal.
Is there a mobile app?
The admin SPA is mobile-responsive — full CRUD works on a phone. We don't ship native apps yet (no app-store hostage situation), but a PWA install is available.
Can I migrate from Calendly, Amelia, or Bookly?
Yes. We provide CSV importers for customers and bookings, plus a 10-day migration checklist. Most operators move over a weekend.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan covers core scheduling, manual payments, email reminders, and one service. It's not a trial — it's free forever, with no booking limits.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. 30-day no-questions-asked refund on annual plans. If you go on the lifetime tier, you have 60 days.
What happens after the annual term ends?
Your plugin keeps working forever — annual renewal only buys you updates and support. There is no "ransomware" mode where features stop working when payment lapses.
